Dr. Mary You is a licensed psychologist. She has been providing therapy and assessment services since 2017. She earned her M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Anaheim, California. She completed her internship at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and post-doctoral residency at the Preston Hollow Health and Wellness in Dallas, Texas

Dr. You specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse, body image problems, low self-esteem, relationship problems, parenting, ADHD, aging, grief and loss, infidelity, and infertility. Dr. You has had a wide range of experience in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, community mental health center, community college, and assessment center. Her goal is to provide an open and safe environment where patients can talk about their thoughts and feelings. Dr. You collaborates with patients to process, explore, and problem-solve together. She will help develop coping strategies to manage distress and challenge patients to reach their goals and desired mental health.

Dr. You comes from an integrative and client-centered approach where she utilizes various interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused interventions, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Functional Family Therapy, Positive Psychotherapy, relational approaches, mindfulness-based approaches, and self-compassion.
